PATHWAYS CLINIC
Our team is interdisciplinary (a mix of mental health care professionals of different backgrounds) with child, youth and family expertise. We assess young people and offer a range of ways to help in recovery from mental health issues.
WHO ARE WE?
We are a multi-disciplinary team.
Our core team is made up of
- Dr K Porpavai: Child, Adolescent and Family Psychiatrist
- Dr Shilpa Terance: Maternal and Child Health Specialist
- Mrs Srividhya Narayanan: Counsellor and Child and Adolescent Mental Health clinician.
- Mrs Tharageswari: Psychologist
Our extended support team includes
- Speech therapists
- Occupational therapists
- Social workers
- Special education teachers and
- Paediatricians
WHAT WE DO?
Pathways Clinic is the clinical wing of Pathways Foundation Kovai. We support parents, caregivers and communities to have the necessary knowledge, resources, confidence and skills to support their own wellbeing and raise resilient, emotionally healthy children and young people. At Pathways Clinic we provide mental health assessment and treatment for infants, children and young people up to the age of 25 and their families.
